‘What We Feel’ mini-series explores mental health issues

Conceived and directed by Oliver Alvin-Wilson, the 'What We Feel' mini-series explores a range of mental health issues, the notion of identity and protected characteristics including anxiety, depression, PTSD, bereavement, LGBTQIA+ issues and Deaf, BAME and disability challenges. Each actor shares the same protected characteristic as the character that they play. What We Feel was devised in Lockdown 1.0 by the cast in workshops and co-created with people living with mental health issues with the full support of a trained counsellor and therapist. A co-production of 1623 theatre company and D&O Productions, it was supported by Arts Council England's Covid-19 Emergency Fund.

The What We Feel miniseries is being launched weekly every Friday from 5th February 2021 (@7pm) on 1623's YouTube Channel which you can access here: http://bit.ly/1623YTWWF.

The miniseries is captioned for D/deaf viewers.
