Sushil Saluja appointed a Trustee of The British Council
Senior business leader Sushil Saluja has been appointed a Trustee of the British Council, which has turnover of around £1.3 billion each year and works with more than 80 million people in more than 100 countries worldwide. The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities, promoting the country’s interests around the world.
As part of the board of trustees, Sushil will act as a guardian of the British Council’s purpose and provide valuable experience from the higher education sector. The British Council supports the UK’s ‘soft power’, building connections and long-lasting relationships between the people of the UK and countries in which it works.
