TechUK appoints its first female President

Jacqueline de Rojas, who last week was named as the most influential woman in UK IT, has today (16th July 2015) been appointed as President of the techUK Board. TechUK is an industry association which represents more than 850 companies, who collectively employ approximately 700,000 people, about half of all tech sector jobs in the UK.

An international executive at mobile workspaces company Citrix, Jacqueline has been employed throughout her career by global blue-chip software companies to accelerate growth by pulling amazing teams together who can operate under pressure and extend their reach through smart partnerships. Holding a number of board and advisory positions, she serves as a non-executive director on the board at Home Retail Group PLC, is a board advisor at Digital Leaders and is lending her support to the technology group of the 30% Club.

Away from her day-to-day role at Citrix, Jacqueline has held the role of deputy president and board champion for women on the board of techUK for the last two years. She has used this role to leverage resources in the technology industry to support her manifesto for women. This cause is close to her heart and she will build on this in her new role as president of techUK.
