Obstacles still holding back diverse individuals from top roles
The Moloney Search 2020 Diversity & Inclusion report, published on 1st October 2020, found that 74% of respondents felt there are still obstacles holding back diverse individuals and 66% were dissatisfied with the lack of diversity presented to them by search firms. Areas the report looked at were:
- Is the diversity pool shallow or are there hidden depths, especially when it comes to looking at BAME candidates
- The D&I fundamentalists – radical solutions to an age-old problem?
- D&I: How do you answer a now obsolete question?
- Diversity but not inclusion
- Do you see us? The D&I agenda for disabled individuals
"As it is a few years since our last report we decided to take the time over the summer to properly re-examine some of the issues at stake," said a spokesperson for the firm, "'dissatisfaction with the lack of diversity presented to them by search firms' is something we are planning to do something about!"
