Diversity Tech Summit 2025 to Spotlight Women’s Health

Diversity Tech Summit 2025 to Spotlight Women’s Health

Women’s health is finally receiving the attention it deserves - and it’s long overdue. On 25th June 2025, Diversity UK will convene leading investors, innovators, academics, and founders for an inspiring evening dedicated to one of the most critically overlooked areas in technology and healthcare: the gender health gap.

Now in its third instalment, the Diversity Tech Summit 2025, sponsored by Futurum Financial Advice and Greenwoods Legal LLP, will centre on the theme ‘Investing in Women’s Health’ - highlighting the pressing need for inclusive innovation and fair funding within the health sector.

Taking place from 6pm to 9pm at the elegant St. James’s Place Wealth Management HQ (30 Lombard Street, London), the Summit will feature:

  • A keynote address by a visionary industry leader
  • A compelling panel discussion – “Researcher to Entrepreneur: How to Create a HealthTech Spinout” – exploring how academic research can translate into real-world health solutions
  • Tech showcases celebrating pioneering, female-led startups transforming women’s health
  • Carefully curated networking opportunities to connect researchers, investors, founders, and allies shaping the future of healthcare

The event will also delve into key findings from the recent McKinsey Health Institute report, Closing the Women’s Health Gap: A $1 Trillion Opportunity to Improve Lives and Economies. According to the report, women spend 25% more of their lives in poor health compared to men – a stark inequality with significant economic and societal implications.

By addressing this disparity, the lives of 3.9 billion women could be improved globally, with a potential economic benefit of $1 trillion per year by 2040. The message is clear: health equity is not only a moral necessity but also an economic imperative.

Organised by Diversity UK, a leading equality charity championing greater representation in Britain, this will be the third Diversity Tech Summit and the sixth event in its acclaimed ‘Investing in Women Founders’ panel series.
