Creative Case for diversity and inclusion in the Arts

The Creative Case is hosting live chat with the Arts Council’s Director, Diversity, Tony Panayiotou on Tuesday 4 June between 12pm and 1pm inviting us all to examine diversity and equality within the arts and take a creative approach to addressing barriers to creativity, participation, learning and involvement around race, disability and gender equality, instead of simply viewing it as a legal requirement. The live chat will ask if we are making the most of the artistic opportunities within this area? Are we really doing enough within the arts to include everyone? The live chat follows the publication of the 'Creative Case for Diversity', a publication launched in association with the Arts Council at the Creative Case conference in Manchester on 12 September 2011.
