Diversity UK Networking Event, 5th Nov 2014: good karma and unconscious bias

Our panel, moderated by Diversity UK Founder & CEO Lopa Patel, will comprise Nishma Gosrani, Director at Deloitte Consulting, who leads the Diversity and Inclusion proposition and is the co-sponsor of the Deloitte Multicultural Business Network; Farzana Baduel who is Founder and Managing Director of Curzon PR and the AMA Media Professional of the Year 2014 and Harish Bhayani, Founder and Senior Partner of PRM Diversity Consultants where he specialises as an executive trainer and researcher.

About Nishma Gosrani

Nishma Gosrani is a Director at Deloitte Consulting where she works with a wide range of financial services clients specializing in banking and capital markets. As well as strong commercial expertise, she has an impressive understanding of organizational change and design, leadership, culture and global business strategy. She leads the Diversity and Inclusion client proposition for Deloitte and is the co-sponsor of the Deloitte Multicultural Business Network. She also serves as a board member and trustee of two public sector organisations.

About Farzana Baduel

Farzana Baduel is Founder and Managing Director of Curzon PR, a London-based strategic public relations and digital communications agency working across arts, culture, business and policy in growth markets. She has worked on government-backed projects for Russia, Ukraine, Malaysia, Azerbaijan and the UK. Prior to establishing Curzon, Baduel was Advisor to the London Development Agency and Enterprise Insight in 2006 and has served as Vice Chair of Conservative Business Relations since then. She is also currently a trustee of the Youth Music Theatre UK (YMT) and serves on the board of CARE, Pakistan’s largest educational NGO. In October 2014, Farzana was recognised the Media Professional of the Year Award at the Asian Media Awards.

About Harish Bhayani

Harish Bhayani is founder and Senior Partner of PRM Diversity Consultants. He has specialised as a diversity consultant, trainer and researcher since 2001. His expertise is grounded in some 20 years of prior experience working in large corporations such as Exxon Mobil and Deloitte. During the last decade Harish has developed leading edge initiatives in areas such as Unconscious Bias, Diversity Benchmarking, Organisational Network Analysis and Supplier Diversity. He is a trustee at homelessness charity Crisis, a member of the Diversity Working Group at the CIPR and a volunteer business adviser at the charity Young Enterprise.
